Prey: A 2022 film of the predator genre.
Featuring a bunch of Indians living happy as a fook in their tented community alongside the lead bird Amber Midthunder, who's prepping herself for the ablutions about to come her way.
Midthunter appears desperate to belong to her tribes heirachy by redifining her hunting prowess to that of her male counterparts, as we see her sharpen her axe for the umpteen time, It's not just me as even her dear old mum has a proper pop at her for time wasting!
Raised in the shadow of her brother and kissing cousins, nanu learns much, but in reality they all expect nothing back from her. It’s only when her camp starts to fizzle out that she gets to make her mark on the tribe.
Und so .. the Alien ship decends, dropping off our Predator in full respndant battle kit and things start to get well messy, but fear yee not as Midthunder and spunk the wonderdog are ever close at hand.
Some of the action scenes are incredible, sporting exciting sequences to guarantee the viewer entertainment in a double concentrated format, but regardless of the hype I thought at times it was all a little bit Meh (that Comanche for so so)
Having said that it's probaly the best predator movie since the original, proving there's life in the old franchise yet.
Our score is 7/10 and certainly watchable:
