Last Film You Saw

A lot of people have asked me when Bohemian Rhapsody will be out. Well, there is now a screener out with AC3 (Dolby 5.1) audio. There will be digital releases available January 21st/22nd with the Bluray set to be released on February 12th.
 
Den of thieves with Gerard Butler, it was ok modern day version of Heat but no where near as good.
 
Annihilation. Pretty decent flick. Natalie Portman isn't going to replace Sigourney Weaver in the sci-fi hero department. But she's perfect in the Tarkovaky inspired acid trip into your unrealized fears. Oscar Isaac, as usual, steals every scene he's in.
 
I just realized Mahershala Ali is the West Side Boy type soldier in Predator (2010). No fucking way, he is built like a brick shit house in that. Not seen House of Cards or Moonlight so my first experience with him Predator and for his part in it, did well. His interplay with Walter Goggins was very good, considering what they had to work with. I can't recall him in The Hunger Games either but i want to forget all of those films anyway.

Luke Cage is where i thought "eh up, this fella is not some generic actor who got lucky with a big part". Green Book is the point i was thinking "well you have made it mate, look forward to seeing what else you can do" and rightly so.
 
True Detective Season 3 just started and Mahershala Ali is the lead. Season 2 was poor IMHO but will tune in hoping Ali will make it worthwhile
