Last Film You Saw

Wolf Creek (2005). A good Aussie horror flick detailing 3 backpackers (2 Brit girls and their Aussie boy friend). When their car breaks down on an Outback road trip, they are abducted and tortured by a psycho maniac. Very inventive plotting, good use of scenery and allegedly based on true events.

Kevin Spacey has ruined his reputation with all his shenanigans…..

Now; does that mean he didn't do it? I don't honestly know. I wasn't there when these alleged offences were committed, and I haven't heard all the evidence (from both sides) that the jury heard. Would he be the first "guilty" party to have been cleared in a court? No; of course not. All you can do is hope that the jury got it right. Whatever, his reputation is in tatters. "no smoke without fire". Shame, as he is a great actor

Slightly different but Ryan Adams reputation is definitely soiled, shame one of my favourite singer/songwriters

There really should be some sort of restriction on the naming of the alleged suspect in any sexual assault (in any form) case. The media are all too willing to conduct their own "trial" and, as you said, these people's reputation and good name are gone, even if they are acquitted. "Yeah; he's got off with it, but we all know he did it" sort of thing. Which can't be right.

As per Christopher Jeffries, the poor man, an absolute disgrace by the tabloids.

The old adage ‘no smoke without fire’………

Seems in this day and age with social media anything can be put out there with little or no comeback

The Open House.Seemed OK until the ending.... didn't seem to have one

A Quite Place.

A bit annoying having to read all the subtitles and a bit shit anyway.

Passed a couple of hours at work though. Think I’ll watch the sequel tonight.

Someone bought me the James Bond box set. I always thought the bond films were trash for the most part but it was a present, so I thought I’d see if I was right or wrong. I’m up to The Man with the Golden Gun. Verdicts so far.
Dr No - alright - surprisingly low-key.
From Russia with Love - bloody good. Maybe I’ve been wrong all these years.
Goldfinger - Daft, but pretty entertaining. Saved by a good villain.
Thunderball. - even dafter than Goldfinger but somehow less entertaining.Connery seems to be getting more thuggish with each new film.
You Only Live Twice - He’s basically a psycho now. Good sets, but even Dr Loomis can’t save it. Surprisingly racist. Basically a worse remake of Thunderball.
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service - fucking brilliant, shame about Lazenby. Tele Savalas is the best Blofeld and Diana Rigg is the best thing in any of these so far.
Diamonds are forever - Absolute garbage. Seems like no-one could be bothered. Walt Disney should have sued.
Live and Let Die - blaxploitation with Roger Moore. That should be funny, but isn’t. Is it supposed to be a horror film?
The Man with the Golden Gun. Bond fans seem to hate it but I thought it was alright. He has a powerful weapon, apparently. Could do without the Smokey and the bandit shit. They’re playing these for laffs now.

One of very few movies that I turned off. I just couldn't take the glorified horrible cruelty.

If it wasn't meant to be true I might have handled it but to think that real people's lives/deaths were being exploited so blatantly by the film makers to make a buck was just too much for me.

There's horror and then there's horror.
