I'm intrigued by it but I know it's going to be more "elevated horror" bullshit sadlyI watched "Backrooms" last night.
I was really looking forward to it, turned out to be incredibly disappointing.

He's absolutely excellent in movies, incredibly good actor and the movies you've mentioned he was really good in, he does play a really good role in Backrooms too, for what they wanted him to do in the movie, he done incredibly well. Thanks man, very true, I do like Chiwetel Ejiofor. It's cool how sometimes an actor can be really good in a film but we still don't like the film. If anything that speaks to how well the actor or actress does, as they stand out and we have every reason not to like them as we are not enjoying the film, but we still like their performance. That is often more impressive than liking an actor in a film we love as we never know how much of that is because the film is so good and the actor is just one part of that.
Those same people probably enjoyed Weapons, Midsommar, Hereditary etcI'd actually like you to watch it just to see what you take from it, numerous people have said to me "you need to go and see it", they couldn't believe that I thought it was really disappointing.

I definitely remember some 'Action' and 'Detective' comics in their collections. Some of which I was NOT allowed to touch! I know they wouldn't have been bagged if they weren't first or second run editions.
I remember going once, to a tiny book shop stacked, and I mean stacked, with comics and my Brother speaking to the owner and the owner going in the back of the shop, returning with a comic. Can't remember if my Brother bought it or not, though.
I'm pleased for that still bangable old lady though!!

Just saw Backrooms at the pictures, with my son. Went in thinking it was probably going to be some Gen Z bollocks by a YouTube no-mark, but actually enjoyed it a lot. Very solid film.

Escape room from 2019(i think) pretty decent until the last 10 mins which didn't work for me.

Its a 5 minute 6th form film, dragged out to 105 minutes by a fat faced system podge brained no mark.

Watched FUZE last night. Unbelievable plot twists, but also quite tense and entertaining. Set in London, the discovery of an unexploded WW2 bomb causes a total evacuation - providing cover for a carefully planned bank robbery. An Army bomb squad is mobilised and the police lockdown the area…
Quite a short film but many plot lines. We enjoyed it 7/10.
