We'd probably score 6-7 on good day and concede 2-3 on a bad day. If Mancini is dedicated to creating an attacking side he'd play this team on bad days if it were an option. The only thing that really "hurts" us is that Yaya is not really a destroyer. If we were to play a front five of 2 wingers, 2 creators and a striker we'd probably need Nigel to bust up play.
We won't ever set up like that and for good reason IMO, Mancini will always make a strong defensive unit a priority, it's his way and defence was the first thing he worked on at our club. The balance we have now is very good (almost Italian in one half and Spanish in the other), the only thing is to continuously improve the quality of players so that we can be the very best.

I can think of several situations this year where if we could have, we should have set up like if the options existed. Sunderland away is a great example of how sometimes you have to really throw the kitchen sink at opponents to break them down. We can't be afraid of 1-0 losses and getting caught on the break next year. We coasted early in the season on our reputation for not wanting to push the attack forward in previous seasons.
As for the squad, we have the ability to really own possession and shot statistics. I think a lot of people vastly underestimate Samir Nasri's ability in central midfield. We are seeing more and more teams willing to concede 70% of the ball against Yaya/Nigel/Barry midfield pairings. Imagine if we had wingers capable of spreading play and pulling the fullbacks out of position for Silva and Nasri to work in between the seams.
I'm not saying that we can line up with 2 wingers and 2 creators against squads like United. But we shouldn't be afraid to do so against bunkering teams. There will be times when we need to out-pass the opposition.

Disagree. Lavezzi has scored 38 in 152, Hazard has 33 in 144 plus nasri, silva and toure are not exactly goal machines so basically if aguero is injured or doesn't play well we will never score.

Hazard was quite young when he made his debut and his game has come on leaps and bounds since then, so his overall scoring record doesn't look that great. He has 17 goals and 15 assists in 32 league starts this season. If he were to come here I think he would score even more.
Lavezzi I think would do well here but he's not a goal machine like some people think he is.

milner is 3 times the player aj is and offers so much more to the team

We do have 2 other strikers in double digits for goals scored. Hazard has 17 goals, Lavezzi averages nine goals a season. To compare:
Di Maria: 5 goals in 21 games
Nani: 8 goals in 27 games
Sanchez: 12 in 27 games
Bale: 9 goals in 34 games
Ribery: 12 goals in 28
I'd say for his position Lavezzi is amongst some incredible talent and statistics. Hazard is a future out and out striker. He has all of the technique and prowess of an Henry.
