After what i have just watched and listened to, i can only hope that every French rider drops out in the first week as their so called sporting public deserve nothing.

Chapeau Froomey and lets hope team Sky can ram it down everyone's throats yet again.

Highlights on itv catchup, watched until 2 today breakaway was around 48 seconds when I left to watch the footy. I love this sport!

Thought the cobbles will be a big game changer. Did they put it in place to be just that? Make it difficult for any team to dominate? Big mistake in my view. Big lottery as riders could loose BIG time gaps as cars will not be able to follow closely. Paris Roubaix is just that you win if you get lucky.

Been a really successful Depart in the Vendee - 3 fascinating stages with plenty going on. In some ways this first week/ 9 days of the tour is the most fascinating- the 2nd/3rd week almost feels like a different race. Mur de Bretagne gonna be big, then Sunday of course too. Bring it on.

Stage 4 betting a flat finish. I had a look at the betting Mark Cavendish is 17/1 to win todays stage. Paddy Power are also paying out a quarter of the odds on the first 3. At that value Cav is worth a bet even if his best days are behind him. If he get the wheel of Sagan or Kittel I think he has every chance today.
