Chapeau Froome he was the best rider this year, totally deserved to win, I think its funny the French press cant handle him winning, wonder if they will question Pinot being able to perform like he did at the end of 3 weeks of riding, I think we all know the answer to that. Nairo is one of my favourite riders in the peloton and was glad to see him finally really go for it today. The lack of a proper TT probably made this tour closer than others, if Froome had that, he'd have won by more.

Hopefully Cav will win tomorrow to cap a fine tour overall for Britain.

I've never really believed all this 'you don't attack when someone's had a mechanical' guff. Over the years I've seen lots of times when a rider has taken advantage of another riders mechanical problems - it's unfortunate (as it was for Nibali today) but part of racing at the top level. From the point of view of today's stage I think having Nibali up at the front on the final climb would have added even more to what was a really exciting last few kilometres.

If I were him I 'd do them and state publicly that the booing was a disgrace that the Tour is in danger of losing the support of top riders if it cannot guarantee their security , call out the French press and people like Jalabert to produce their proof he is doping or to shut the fuck up and question why when the sport makes strides to clean up then France is incapable of producing a winner.............. that in itself is something worth considering too. Maybe French chemists are just fucking shite.
