Miller called it straight away and said it was down to Qintana to start the chase. Didn't Boardman say it made him angry that they didn't chase straight away?
 
Love the Tour so much, never thought I would see a British Winner so it is just astonishing to see us dominate it over recent years and this year in particular is amazing.
It makes such great TV, particularly in the old days when you would not hear the result and could enjoy every minute of the highlights.
The highlights commentary seems to be taken from the live commentary so never any clues as to whether the break or attack you were being shown was the decisive one or not, and the commentators excitement was genuine and came through.
 
Hello bikey people I know this is the tour de France but is anything bikey happening in Geneva because I've never seen so many bikes on one aircraft and they took priority over bags and suitcases

Miller is quite good, gives good assessments of the varying situations. Boardman did say he was angry, what I dont get is fans (or none British cycling fans) say Sky are boring in what they do but nobody ever tries to do something different to stop them, and when Sky do, the others dont react at all and allow them to do whatever they want. If I wasnt British, I would be imploring the teams I supported to try and do what Sky did today for example.

Sky's only major fault is they want to be loved, fuck that, destroy them all and win as much as you can, while you can, who needs the love of piss throwing Frenchies anyway??

Not quite the same, Sky has a bigger budget and the best talent compared to the other teams about today, unlike US Postal who had a number of unknowns flying up mountains with Armstrong. Froome released his data, I'm not sure there is much more he can do to prove he is clean.
