its been obvious for a few days this really
they would of had to get the ticket criteria out quicker to shift 8,000 to 10,000 tickets,plus getting them posted over xmas/new year,they have known along this would happen,
like others have said,bollox to the cup scheme now next year

Police decision no doubt. Whatever your view don't blame the clubs. If they argue against it they can't win so no point blaming City.

The high profile alleged racist plus general disorder afterwards certainly didn't help given utd would have 3x the support and a more local clientele , I'm not sure GMP could handle the second leg if it got out of hand .

what a shocking decision, and kills the atmosphere stone dead. How can the club beg for your support on one hand, and then happily turn you away on the other. Both clubs happy to let the morons win.
I suspect the clubs made the decision in the light of policing costs which would have been considerable (around £70k for each leg).It was not the police

The worst thing about the decision is that it will inevitably lead to loads of rags in our end again and more trouble!
