LeagueCup SF - Man Utd - away allocation of only 3000 (p30)

essentially both clubs are saying that their own fans cannot be trusted and that your support is not wanted. When they are pushing to sell tickets for a game that is a hard sell, i hope they are reminded of this decision

Its all rags this with there shit hole of a stadium that is a fcuking death trap plus the police security what edwood wants to save on! But as always we bend over as a club don’t make a fuss and stick up for there own supporters who look forward to these games when you have a much higher allocation!

so city get 3000 and the swamp holds 74 or 75 thou yeah? and yet the rats get the same amount at the etihad which holds 54.

That is because the FA, the Premier League and every football club allow them to trot out the shite excuse that because of where the away fans are penned you can only fit 3,000. Just like they get away with no VAR screen and insufficient seats for the disabled. They make the rules and no one challenges them. My maths is shite but whatever percentage 3.000 is of 76k we should impose that on them.
That said City have scored a huge own goal with this.

you are probably right but we can charge what we want for the home games so I think £25 for adults and a tenner kids should be the prices (outside corporate)

I remember paying £40 for that game in 2010. Ten years later I'll go £50/ticket for season ticket holders.

I'm not sure that's the case mate. I think the clubs agree between themselves what the pricing should be, and I'm guessing as United will be getting a percentage of the gate receipts, they'll want us to charge as much as possible!

Don’t get City we seem to not want to rock the boat with anything sit back have our belly tickled! We could of should of made a big deal out of this saying we proved as fans in the Munich minutes silence years ago that we can behave!

True mate but Utd weren’t giving away 30k of free tickets in those days for European games. For us, the expanded ground / South Stand has taken away surplus demand for tickets. £50 tickets will guarantee loads of empties.

But City never do and no one challenges them over the league allocation year after year either. They do what they want.

Isn’t that only for the South Stand mate where we are “sharing” a stand?
