I think Keith Richards has a similar view of Zep. As does Clapton if I recall rightly. Didn't stop him ripping off Stairway To Heaven.

What Page could generate in a studio was staggering wasn’t it? Mostly sounded underpowered live, but the soundscapes he created in the studio were immense and intense.

Planty has his ST a few rows in front of me at Molineux, loved hearing him on TS last week laying into Agbonlashit. As RP listens to TS he has obviously heard Fick Gab and his Wolves chip on his shoulder
