33 years? Seems like only yesterday Stan Gibson turned his mower off.

We've been lucky to have had a fantastic playing surface for years and years and years tended by experts in their field (sorry) even when the team wasn't good enough to take advantage of it.

I vaguely recall a picture of Stan alongside Franny Lee on the cover of the programme just after Franny became chairman.
