"Meh" sort of game apart from a few exceptional moments.

Managed the game well up to the penalty then lost the plot. Thankfully it was late on and only Leeds. Showed the importance of the third goal in games like this.

Oh well. Three points. Four points clear, game in hand, and Arsenal losing tomorrow.

For all the bollocking Haaland and Akanji may be getting, the stupidest fucking play was by Foden launching the ball out of the corner while we were trying to waste time down there. Didn’t we learn that lesson after Madrid last season?

the issue is not the 3 points ofcourse we would all take it but we cant be playing like this against madrid and brighton or brentford for that matter we are not taking our chances and making it harder for ourselves we went out in to madrid in the champions league semis precisely for this reason not taking our chances then getting punished

Excellent 1st half performance but signs of complacency in the 2nd. That penalty and Leeds goal a minute later were hugely unprofessional from us.
You do that "I'll take it to get ny 1st ever hat trick" when you're 4 up and 5 minutes to go, not when it's 2-0 and 1 goal for the opposition can make it a nervy last 10 minutes.
Poor from Akanji for their goal, what was he trying to do?
