Leeds (H) | Post Match Thread

Sterling is playing at one worlds top clubs and is being paid a fortune. His performances this season have no where near the required standard. He had an opportunity today to stake a claim for a place back in the side, for CL Quarter final and he was absolutely dire. No effort, no guts, no desire. I have completely lost faith in him to turn this around and the rumour that he wants to be paid at the same level as KDB is a joke. As for “Disrespecting” Raheem he has to regain our RESPECT!
Don't judge him this season. so how many seasons he was poor?
He was one of the best players in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons. He would definitely improve it but he needs motivation and support when he is not performing well.

it’s not obvious that they won’t will all their games though is it? I had no problem with some players being rested but pep done too many to begin the game with and the formation of the team was horrendous! Just get the title won but making 7 changes today was truly not needed.
There was no excuse for that team losing yesterday, too many bad performances and naive defending at the end.

WHAT??
So you reckon utd will win their next 8 league games?
Just to give you some stats that blow your theory wide open, in the last 13 games in all comps they have won 7, drawn 5 and lost 1.

In their last 11 league games, since January 27th, they have won 4, drawn 5 and lost 2.

What in your right mind makes you think they will win 8 out of 8 league games?
I'm all ears.
Edit...
Compare that to our run.
Played 29, won 27, lost 2 but you say we've got work to do.
Wumming isn't your best quality.
End of the day if they don’t you remind me of this idiotic post I did which could be later on but let’s see

You would think the team would get a bit of leeway after how they have performed this season. It’s never nice to lose and when it’s in those circumstances like we saw yesterday it’s a bitter pill to swallow. Some of the reactions though, Jesus.
I’m surprised some of you make it out of bed in a morning. The world must be a dark place to lose your shit over a defeat that still leaves us miles clear at the top of the league and still in every competition we’ve entered.

Knew before the game that Pep would pick a weakened team, he has swapped it around all season, especially against managers he likes, but he butchered this team 4 left backs? one center back 5 midfielders ( Jesus has had his balls cut off by Pep ) and none can score or defend, none has pace power or height to threaten, Pep is the greatest but yesterday he showed all his failings losing to hard working donkeys

The reality is that top sides need their special players to turn games and we didn't start them. Nor should we have done. We wanted the weakest possible side that would win the game and we went too far and then didn't make the right sub. And it went for Leeds. 2 attacks, 2 goals.
Good points but we are supposed to have a quality squad. 2 players for each position who can be interchanged for any particular game. The system did not change yesterday, the tactics were the same so why did we not win?

Pep has spoken about the team is stronger collectively as we don’t have a star player to score goals. Well the collective was not up to standard yesterday and it was evident we needed a match winner. With the accounts out and our wage bill going up, you can’t help question the need to 2 quality players in each position when we can beat ten men at home.

With respect, Bill makes it quite clear every week that he would play the strongest line up and make no changes even if it meant the same 11 for the whole season.
That kind of thinking is so outdated I’m shocked anybody still comes out with it.
Rest half the team every match, everone gets games and the players aren't flogged to death, only playing 2 out of 4.
OR - go down the Klipperty road and only go for 1 trophy.
Simples.
