What annoys me most is conceding so easily in added time: you have to make sure you don't lose at that stage and accept that a win is a bonus if you can work another opening.

Yes that is a big concern in the games that really matter. Our record when we fall behind is not good and that is when you need someone to pop up. Gundog has covered this up to a certain extent and hopefully he has a few more important goals in him. Hard to know if this poor performance will be a good or a bad thing ultimately as we head into a crucial period.
 
Our "squad players" looked poor.

Kev looked pissed off at the end to have warmed up like that, then not to be used, and then having to stand there and witness their breakaway winner.

It would be interesting to see which of our players have had the most shots in that lot.
 
What a load of rubbish. It was Peps fault for playing the reserve team. The game was crying out for some creativity from Dr Bruyne and he still didn't bring him on. Sterling was awful again, when was the last time he actually played well in a game? Stones was at fault for their second goal, he was too busy playing as an attacking midfielder to be back in his proper position where he should be!

When you’re going for all 4 trophies in the space of less than 2 months though.

Tbh, I actually think playing at home is another issue. Our best performances have been mostly away as with most sides. I think we’ll play better away to Dortmund than we did in the home leg. Hopefully that’ll be enough for us to go through.

He wasn’t great last season mate either and I have always gave him the benefit of the doubt but now I can’t . Not bothered that we got beat as Leeds are one of the top teams in the league but I’m more alarmed that we lacked bite

Exactly!! For me you get the league fucking won first. Losing today just means we're now in a dilemma come the next league game as if the rags win tomorrow we'll have to go strong anyway. If we'd won today and they lost tomorrow then it eases the pressure on our next league game. As I said in an earlier post the rags losing eases today's shambles of a result, but hopefully it's a wake up call.
 
With so many changes this result was always possible ,take heart blues most of today's team will not start on Wednesday. Keep the faith guys.

My point is we are generally running the game yet we are relying on our centre back to try and score leaving big gaps. It’s insane that in the last few minutes stones is in their box when all they have is counter attacks. We bring Kev on 15 mins to go & let stones sit deep we probably win. We would certainly not lose it.
Stones had a good game but he was asked to do crazy tactics in my opinion
 
Everyone needs to chill out. If it was Liverpool potentially 8 points behind us I’d be mildly concerned. This is a bang average United side. They couldn’t win shit! As if they are going to win 10 games in a row. Haha

Not the biggest Garcia fan but he was the replacement for Ake.
Fernandinho doesn't have the legs for centre back and switching Mendy and Zinchenko was nonsensical.

We've lost three times at home this season (so far), compared to just once on the road.

we are not that good a squad people think we are. over paid players are taking up spaces on the bench that youth could be used. there is 3 or 4 good youth players good enough right now for a place in this squad

Harsh on Torres... needs to be given time... wasn’t great today (goal aside) but young lad, new country and in lockdown - give him a chance yet
