Certainly a more fluid performance, with Haaland much more involved from the get go.

Both the scorers needed a goal, and took them well, and McAtee’s cameo was just what he needed. After the goal he helped create, the players made it patently obvious how thrilled they were for him, and he relayed that to the fans. Chuffed to bits for him!

Hopefully, that earned him a scintilla of Pep’s “trust”?!!

I can’t remember the last time a team played as open as Leicester, toe to toe football. Hopefully Pep has seen enough today to stop camping in the opposition box and let us try and play expansive, exciting, dangerous football again.
