Leicester City (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

One of the best away days this season. Fans were class. 2-0 win, McAtee brilliant proving Pep wrong. This title race is not over, all it takes is Salah to get injured.
lol ,no Liverpool will not collapse without Salah and we need to win almost every game ,which we wont :D

What do you mean, if that's the case? They aren't reading it. It's a thread where people vent during a game or offer their thoughts with other fans. As long as it's not abusive there shouldn't be any problem with what people post. The idea that people shouldn't be critical (particularly during this run & with some of the OOP dross we see) in favour of just being happy clappy is surreal.
I've often said that constructive criticism is to be encouraged, when the individual deserves it. But stuff like, "he's shit, get rid of the c**t" is not constructive, and adds nothing to any debate about the merits of any player.

Good.
Don't understand the shit he gets on here
Lewis is very young. His performances are bound to suffer when all around him is injury, change, mistakes. He should not get pelters here. Wait till he appears in a settled defence, then judge. Pep rates him and he knows more than all of us put together. So glad to see him play well today.

Well if you don’t understand it mate, I can’t speak for others, but from my pov …

… Have a look at how often he’s out of position when we concede, have a look how often his passes are non-progressive, have a look at the times he gives the ball away, have a look at how often he gets outmuscled in 50/50s, have a look at how often he scores, have a look at how often he’s a passenger in midfield, have a look at how slow he is in the sprint.

Just to be clear I’m not necessarily talking about just about today’s game.

He’s 20. When in your mind pal will he stop being “very young”?

Yes but he's also a young local city fan.
I'd rather that than some lad from Spain or Brazil who couldn't give a shit.
Cut him some slack

No, it is them who should stay away from the club altogether

I'm sorry, but that is bollocks.
My great Uncle started going to watch City in the 1930s, and became a ST holder in the 1970s. Even bought some shares when we were really shite in the 80s.

He was a bachelor so always came to ours on a Sunday for dinner. For sodding years in the 70s I had to listen to him and my Grandad moan moan moan about our result the day before.

Were they "lesser" fans because they moaned? Of course not! In actual fact they were the foundation on why we got picked for a takeover in 2008.

Very very good. I wish the home games showed this passion for the man.

Great to get a win today. Really don't want to over analyse the performance, so I won't. Well done Blues.
Behave, every home stadium lacks home support even the great pretenders Newcastle and Liverpool, the away fans are always louder.
It's time to go forward as one not look for divisions.

So how does ot work with squad numbers, I take it we have a smaller squad so any additions won’t make a difference in who we name, but say we get three do have to drop 3 or is there space?
Home grown youths are ‘free’ and don’t need to be registered as a squad 25 member. So there is room.

Yeah of course, I don't disagree with that at all.

It’s all too predictable. Some of the Main Stand moaners have been replaced but the new social media types but it still feels like going back in time to the Richard Edgehill days.
I hated the vitriol directed at Edgy, it was bound to affect his confidence. Saw him at the driving range in Bardsley (Oldham) now and again, quiet and unassuming lad, he didn't deserve that shit.

Players always make mistakes in games whether it's City or anyone else. Vincent Kompany made mistakes, scored ogs, so did Richard Dunne, Dave Watson etc. Constant moaning at the players and Pep when we're were winning is hard to fathom though - especially when we've been on such a dreadful run.
It’s an emotional game …

Half of them are halfway down Ashton new road at full time , but that’s OK apparently as no one tells fellow blues when they can or can’t leave the stadium
