Leicester City (H) Post Match Thread

I agree he was excellent yesterday.
Gundogan was good in the 2nd half but poor in the first. His problem is that he is so right footed. Escort him to the right (As Burnley did) and his danger is nullified. Asside from Spurs I've not been too impressed this season. Good squad player but definately a player who could be upgraded for better.

Yep. Vardy is a clone.

Yes, but it wasn't even his best assist of the day

The cross for 2-1 was just fantastic

Another dangerous game out of the way. I'd convinced myself pre-match that we were gonna lose 1-2 - what a bozo

Early / mid Feb and already nobody under Arsenal can catch us!
Now up here in raggy Scandinavia even the telly pundits have had to capitulate and had a long sequence after the match showing that pass from every angle and calling it the best pass ever performed in PL.

One of those players who everyone dislikes unless of course he plays for you.

well no other striker has come here this season and been that much of a threat. He's become pretty much unique in the Prem as everyone else has gone for either ball-playing forwards or big lumps up top, no-one apart from Vardy can really run in behind anymore. Was an interesting challenge for our CBs.

Shark Report:
The physios currently have no return dates for Spanish Dave, Leroy Sane, Jesus, The Shark, and Delph. However, we know Leroy, Gabby, and Mendy are near to full training again.

It was good to see Sterling bounce back straight away with the early goal, with pretty much the same opportunity he had at Turf moor.
Zinchenko grew into the game after some poor passes, but his commitment is there for all to see. It's great to see Stockport lad Phil Foden back, and he had a big hand setting up Sergio's sublime 5th. Bernardo Silva is starting to show his worth, now he's getting that all important game time.
What to say about Kevin De Bruyne, and Sergio Aguero. Two of the finest performances for Manchester City.

We faded after the first 30 minutes, but the biggest turning point came with Puel changing to a 4 man defence. He probably sensed we'd peaked during the first half & thought he could gain an early advantage after the restart if Leicester became more ambitious in an attacking sense.

If Puel thought that then he’s a fool and needs to do his homework better. Our boys are ‘a second half team’. We wear opponents down and blow them away after half time, been doing it all season. I’m always mega confident we’ll win the game if we get to half time not losing

In the same way that Spanish Dave can only use his left foot?
Must be the rarified atmosphere up here in EL3, and I was suffering from oxygen starvation, but I thought he had a good game.
The same too of our Irish Silva (Bernard O') who seems to be growing into his roll very well.

I’m 59, KDB is better. Loved King Colin, but as much as it pains me, KDB has surpassed him.
Same age pal, think Spanish Dave has surpassed the King but KDB on current form is the best City player I've ever seen .
