Start with the strongest team, get it won then make changes if we can. With a 3-0 lead hopefully we can see the 2nd leg through and make a few changes late on to rest players. We have to make changes in the Sheffield United game. It's our last chance to rest some players and it comes before we play Arsenal in the league and before we then play every 3-4 days through to the end of the season. We'd have postponed league games to fit in, a CL semi final hopefully and we already play Arsenal, Fulham (a), West Ham and Leeds in a 12 day period. Game management is going to be critical. We were fucked from those battles with Atletico last season and just about managed to get over the line in the league, but having to take Walker off in the away leg at Real was where it started to go wrong for us. And we'd already played the first leg with Stones at RB in the first half and Ferny in the second.

Got to start strong but make changes and not be too fearful of doing so. I think it was 80mins in when Rodri came off against Southampton. Pep might have to be a bit bolder if we're to achieve what we want to.

1 more win would make it 10 straight wins in all competitions. Got to put pressure on Arsenal after their slip up, they don't play West Ham (A) until Sunday, so we could close the gap to 3 points.

Bayern (A) is on Wednesday, so getting this won early would be ideal.

Dean Smith has just come in for Leicester, he'll probably look to park the bus in this one and play on the counter.

As much a must win game as last night. We cannot drop points. We are building momentum here that has to continue, get at them hard from the off and this can be sewn up by halftime without being cocky then we can think about bayern.

Laporte, walker, mahrez and alvarez all in. Stones akanji, kdb and gundo all given a breather. Phillips, gomez, palmer possibky lewis and maybe even perrone all to come in second half to see it out and save legs
