This is a joke. I trusted in Pep that he made an inspired decision to get rid of Hart and bring Bravo in, but it's becoming clear now that it was actually a mistake, for the first season anyway.
Or maybe Bravo just wasn't the right choice. I know Hart's passing from the back isn't good, but Bravo's really isn't that great, and despite Hart clearly being the better all round goalkeeper, the biggest downgrade has been the communication and leadership which Hart provides. Bravo, for me is another Navas but in goal - completely uninspiring and non-influential to his team mates around and in front of him.
Playing behind Mascherano, Pique and the best team in the world is one thing, you don't need to lead others, but playing behind a young (potentially world class) centre half who needs direction in Stones, and Kolorov is slightly different. We would benefit so much from Hart's defensive organisation right now.
On a side note, I feel sorry for Gabriel Jesus. I have a feeling he's going to come in with so much expectation on him, but with our team and set up how it currently is he's not going to be given a stage to shine, and there's no excuse for that. We should have got the fullbacks we all knew we needed in the summer, and should have gone all out for Bonucci as well as Stones. Instead, if this carries on, any good work Jesus does will be overshadowed by the series of calamitous events at the back.
Sort it out Pep, or move over and let someone a little less arrogant and stubborn have a go.
