Leicester City v City post match.

No, today’s game was probably decided after 15 minutes, with our defenders conceding possession and space too easily.

However, I’ve never been a great fan of either Silva or De Bruyne, mainly because I consider them both to be peripheral players, who are great when things are going well, but equally capable of disappearing when we need assertive leadership (this is where we miss Kompany, and Tevez, or even Gareth Barry)

It’s easy to blame Bravo or Kolarov, but even at half time, I thought that an early goal might spread panic in the Leicester defence. Instead, we got pass, pass pass, when it was crying out for somebody to take responsibility, and put their foot through the ball.

Despite our undoubted ability, City lack desire, attitude, and maybe a bit of devil, which ultimately is how you win the league.

No doubt and the question is do the players we have possess that mentality which you must have to win titles.

Obviously you need both but we need one or two ruthless midfielders , a Sanchez type and some no frills defenders who can defend and run all day and clearly a good shot stopper.

Without them no matter the manager we are behind the eight ball in terms of titles.

No muscle in the team, no Barry, Tevez, Yaya, Kompany, Zaba, De Jong, Bellamy, ffs even Joe Hart and Lescott had strength. We now are weak, leaderless, this at present could be the worst defence I`ve ever seen considering how much possession we usually have

Zaba????

Must've been his twin playing today...

It was Leicester, everyone knows how they play. Without the counter the offer nothing so why on earth would you just blindly bomb forward with a back three and a high line?

That's not just a learning curve error on Pep. It's just plain arrogant and stupid.

First time I've really been disappointed with Pep. Hope he sorts it out quickly.

Unfortunately the goal from Kolarov will probably mean we need to watch him play another few games. Apart from that he was at his worst yet again.

I largely agree, but as I've said in Silva's performance thread, he runs games for Spain, and has been made captain recently, now that's in a pretty decent side, but here as you say, when its not going well, he is peripheral.

The problems today were started by the wrong team selection, compounded by players either not good enough, or not doing their job, and further compounded by players like DS and KdB giving the ball away too cheaply, with our defensive players out of position.

People keep saying its not the system, so what the f**k is it ? Because it seriously out of kilter at the moment, and has been for some time in the PL.

So fucking tell me captain apologist , you happy whith that fucking dog crap breakfast performance ? Or you gonna tell us everything's all right ?
You've got the wrong end of the stick mate I think you'll find I was agreeing with paul powers tash who was far from happy . So it seems you are also not a 'mild mannered janitor' as your profile suggests.

I wonder if a team, at any stage in the history of professional football, has scored 4 goals with 22% possession? Seriously that is majorly fucked up. Flip it around, we had 78% and how many clear chances did we create? These stats point to a criminal dereliction of duty by both defence and attack.

Or it might just point to an emerging footballing FACT i.e. possession football is no longer winning football. Pep's recent lack of success in Europe with Munich and the growing shambles at City might just point to that. Oh and if the manager thinks that tackling is not important that won't help much.

I'm not in the mood for an argument, the Fernando booking wasn't a foul to me either, but I didn't think they were the same 'fouls', and in game I didn't notice the foul on Kelechi.

Like I said I'd rather reflect on the performance of players, team, and management, and on no level was it anywhere near good enough.

Watford will have watched that, and will rightly think they can get something on Wednesday night, and if we don't learn very quickly they will, not to mention the 2 games after that, we could go into the Christmas period in a bit of a mess, in fact its already a bit of a mess for me.

We will no doubt beat Watford and have the fucking whoopee doo brigade creaming their pants that all is cool again.

This fucker has no idea about this league, and it's being proven week in week out by AVERAGE teams.

Dogshit 3 at the back week in week out, average lightweight midfielders week in week out.

Play well v Chelsea and its cigars out, they will be 7 points clear FFS, bollocks.

Nah , fucking bollocks .

Not sure I've ever been so disillusioned with City. Best coach in the world, unlimited funds and still a laughing stock

At least when we were shit we didn't have any expectations and just went for the laughs and the beer
