Leicester City v City post match.

I am becoming disillusioned with Pep, he is insisting on forcing this style of football on players who are simply not capable. I understand the argument that we have to play the system to test it and they have to be given time to adapt and 'hopefully' become good at it but we are becoming worse. Very frustrating and not what I was expecting.

Not only is the defence shot to pieces, it seems we can barely string 4 or 5 passes together to create a decent chance or score a good goal. We have become lost.

The rot needs to stop and very quickly, Arsenal could do some severe damage to us if we don't change. Sanchez, Walcott, Iwobi and others running at the defence.

Don't know if it's been discussed, but has anyone any clue why Pep took Nacho off? What was he thinking, do you think? Surely not simply to try to get control of midfield? We pretty much had all the possession we needed anyway. I didn't get it.

When we're playing poor, the first one(s) to get hooked are always the young ones. That was a constant through Pellegrini's reign (Iheanacho hooked at half time at home to Norwich despite every single one of them performing poorly) and things haven't changed since.

What's that? We're getting battered? Quick, get the young lad who's doing ok off and get an experienced midfielder to play in his place out of position! It's the city way these days.

Fans leaving after 20 mins are ****s. No two ways around it.
Well the team left after 2 mins so fair play to those who endured the next 18 minutes. I couldn't make it but I'd have done the same... Struggling to think of a more shambolic first half performance apart from Liverpool (home in the 4 - 1 and the 3 - 0 after playing in the cup final against them). The PL is as much about effort, desire and mental attitude as it is about ability - just ask Utd fans when they won the league the last year Fergie was in charge.... We have none of it at the moment.

I would have kept him on as he's one of the few players who regularly hits a bulls arse with a banjo. He did completely miss a free header just prior to it, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was to get Nolito free in there. Brought on Yaya first then sneaked Nolito in.

I was impressed with Nolito in there. Got a near postish flick goal which imo we should score 50 per season & almost got a 2nd

Don't be disillusioned.

Am going wed first time this season due to work il be there cheering the boys on its games like this we show them how good we can be as fans

Not the usual poor atmosphere which has factored into me not going this season

Let's really get behind pep and all the lads

I stand by what I said.

A few weeks ago Pep hinted at us finishing 5th this season, which seems to have flown under the radar.
Now, if this were to happen, and we fail to win the Champions league, then what effect would no C/L football have on our ability to sign the players we need to make us a tough side (to beat ) again?
We need to keep faith with Pep, because if he left also , then how do we attract the players we need?
I understand that the ( as yet unplayed) Gabriel Jesus came to us because Pep is here, as did Gundogan and Nolito. Would these players want to leave?
For the moment we must cut Pep some slack. Is it his fault that Kun and Fern got themselves suspended over Christmas?
No.
Is it Pep's fault that Vinny can't stay injury free? No.
Is it Pep's fault that our strikers have missed opportunities to score when it has been harder to miss? No.
Is it Pep's fault that we can't rotate defenders to the extent that he would like? No.
As regards Bravo, he has actually made quite a few good saves if you have watched him during his time here.
The immediate future is uncertain for sure,
but at least give the man a couple of transfer windows to get the players he needs!

Can emphahise with you but no need to call fellow fans ****s. 99.99 % of the time I stay win lose or draw but I can see why fans left either out of frustration or protest. Its up to individuals whether they stay put or leave.
We've got loads of ****s that are City fans.

Just because someone was lucky enough to come from Manchester or be born into a blue household doesn't mean they can't be arseholes.

If you travel all the way to Leicester, spend five hours on the piss and then leave after twenty minutes then what was the fucking point.

I'm glad I didn't do the same away at the Lane in the FA Cup all those years back. Mainly as I probably couldn't walk anyway, but still.
