Leicester City v City post match.

If we finish fifth would it be mandatory to enter the Europa League if that is what fifth place does? I don't fancy a season where there are no European matches but I think that over the last two seasons European competition, good whilst it lasts, has been a tremendous diversion away from the PL. But there again CL competition might be the main thrust of CFG. Wonder what the Chinese would say?

For the moment we must cut Pep some slack. Is it his fault that Kun and Fern got themselves suspended over Christmas?
No.
Is it Pep's fault that Vinny can't stay injury free? No.
Is it Pep's fault that our strikers have missed opportunities to score when it has been harder to miss? No.
Is it Pep's fault that we can't rotate defenders to the extent that he would like? No.
The immediate future is uncertain for sure, but at least give the man a couple of transfer windows to get the players he needs!

Oh come on GB!
Is it Pep’s fault that we play such a high line that our defenders are exposed time after time? Yes.
Is it Pep’s fault that we dither around for so long that any defence has time to get organized before we start to push forward? Yes.
Is it Pep’s fault that we no longer press teams when they win possession? Yes.
Is it Pep’s fault that most of our attacking players rather than create space for the 1-2 pass, simply stand there statuesque waiting for the ball that once received, pings straight back to our defence? Yes.

It’s not just about transfer windows mate, we need an attitude adjustment, some rolled up sleeves and some determination. An on field general wouldn’t go amiss either. Too bad Vinny is unlikely to be that guy again.

Reminiscent of days gone by where I genuinely can't see where our next points are gonna come from!

Oh well, in Pep I trust (just a wee bit less than yesterday afternoon).

Sore finger chips curry and lice please I assume

We've got loads of ****s that are City fans.

Just because someone was lucky enough to come from Manchester or be born into a blue household doesn't mean they can't be arseholes.

If you travel all the way to Leicester, spend five hours on the piss and then leave after twenty minutes then what was the fucking point.

I'm glad I didn't do the same away at the Lane in the FA Cup all those years back. Mainly as I probably couldn't walk anyway, but still.
Sorry I didn't realise you that you knew everyone who had travelled all the way to spend 5 hours on the piss were ****s and arseholes and had left....maybe there may be have some who weren't on the piss, aren't born into blue household are aren't arseholes??

Yeah. Just point to me where I called every fan a ****. Cheers.

I said fans leaving after twenty minutes are ****s.

If you don't agree fine, it won't affect me in the slightest, nor will it change my opinion.

A few weeks ago Pep hinted at us finishing 5th this season, which seems to have flown under the radar.
Now, if this were to happen, and we fail to win the Champions league, then what effect would no C/L football have on our ability to sign the players we need to make us a tough side (to beat ) again?
We need to keep faith with Pep, because if he left also , then how do we attract the players we need?
I understand that the ( as yet unplayed) Gabriel Jesus came to us because Pep is here, as did Gundogan and Nolito. Would these players want to leave?

As regards Bravo, he has actually made quite a few good saves if you have watched him during his time here.

Pretty sensible to me...I wasn't expecting to challenge this year just use it as an assessment of what we need..as I'm sure most were thinking before the season started. The main problem was winning the games at the start of the season altering people's expectations.

Id forgot about carroll tearing us to bits its an age thing mate!!

No worries mate.
I only knew the answer because I was asking myself the same question after 20 minutes yesterday.
In fact it's 30 seasons since I travelled to Filbert Street and saw us losing 4-0 at half time.
My whole life seems to have been spent moaning about City' on the M1
