Leicester (H) Post Match Thread.

I thought Leicester looked good. Very confident with the ball. I think we pinned them back in the second half. One of the better passing teams I've seen this season.
Agreed.. Rogers said in an interview recently that he was trying to get his team to play like a Pep team...I thought they looked slick and dangerous at times....

Nope. Can you imagine being Phil Foden tonight at that age and entrusted by your boss and all that goes with it to start that game. Harsh post. We are a team
Phil is a big boy now if he was shit I will say it & he was, the good thing for him is he learns from it as he will be wearing blue for many a season..
Gundagun did 3 man shift tonight.

With 20 minutes left I couldn’t see a goal coming and starting to accept the horrendous prospect of them ****s winning the league

That must have broke their bitter dipper hearts

no, no clear penalties, they were good tackles and I don't think they were unjustly physical just good solid defending, must certainly wasn't much room for error in them.
Out shooting barring Kompanys goal has been awful of late, cant even seem to get them on target and typical that it has taken a defender to show the rest of the lads up. Hope they get a bit more practice in this week - although they probably bang em in from everywhere at training.

Kompany is Manchester City irrespective of the seasons outcome and will manage the club one day. On anorher note Gundog and Walker have stood up and been counted recently. Credit to them.
In this age of crazy transfer fees it’s hard to believe we only paid £6.5 million for Vinny and a couple of million for Zab

Don't you believe it! Just wait for the Brighton players to tell us they were Dipper fans and went to school wearing full Dipper kits!
That's part of the problem. The dippers have got 5th columnists everywhere trying to help them out, while all we have is Ian Nacho.
Good lad, Ian.

I just thought they had 11 men behind the ball with no intention of playing or scoring.
They were very organised in defence, which is one reason that it needed a goal like Vinny’s to break the deadlock...they looked dangerous on the counter, with pace and some good quality one touch passes....nearly gave me a serious heart attack on more than one occasion

Even Sergio did!

I was right behind it in SS3 and it was in the moment he hit it.

Just watched it now on MOTD and think I celebrated as much again.

Incredible strike and there's nobody better to have done it.

That man is a bona fide Legend. Mr MCFC.
Vinnie is a legend other legends look up to.
