Had a shower just before the game knowing I would need one after too, just tryin to pass the time I guess, felt ok about the game though at that point. Watched the first half and fck me was depressed, then made the mistake of catchin up with the match thread at halftime, jeeesus got a pint glass and reached for the vodka, the missus wondering what the hell I was doing (banned her from watching it with me after the Burnley game). After we scored I kept going out to the garden to waste a bit of time,was so relieved at the final whistle.That camera following Vinnie was great,I even watched a bit of the post match with ratty n spitty. Spent since then tryin to sober up/reading posts etc, still buzzzin now.Thanks City, I wont be able to sleep for at least another 3 hours and got a rough day tomorrow too. Anyway, what a fcking goal and what a fcking man, thats all there is to say about the game, P.S. can we please make it comfortable on sunday as the last few games have meant a combination of my being one or more of drunk/stressed/stinky/ageing/shouty and in mrs eyes bad books( booked us a little holiday for next month to make it up), will be a superb summer if we can see it through now,F A cup too, but either way despite the stress etc its been a fcking brilliant ride. Bring it on...

I can’t believe blues fall for Gary, he spent all game sniping but changed his tune once we’d won. Carragher could barely stand up after the game had finished, red faced as fuck - I hope people remember to keep their car windows closed if they’re travelling on the East Lancs Rd.

So, just coming back down. What a tense game. Thought they were good with quality throughout their team but really surprised about how deep they defended. It really took our wide players out and made it difficult to penetrate. I thought everyone put in a shift but Laporte, Kyle, Gundogan were stand outs for me. What can any City fan say about Vinnie. Mrs S was filling up as he scored what will be an iconic goal in our history. One more to go. We will do it. 6 days and please god Vinnie will lift the PL trophy for the fourth time. The atmosphere in the Etihad in the second half was amazing and most stayed for the post match lap.
 
What a night !

Completely drained now, but this victory - and Vinnie's goal - will live long in the memory.

Well done City !
