Leicester (H) Post Match Thread.

Didn't think about this before, but our goal was scored by a Centerback and assisted by the other Centerback. Nice..

At the end of the season the way both teams played a home game against Leicester City may prove to be the decisive factor. Liverpool drew 1-1 with Leicester and City beat Leicester City 1-0.
In both games the home team played the better game and probably should have won the game but City got the win and Liverpool didn't. Fine margins.
At the end of the season, despite the diving and cheating by the dipper scum (ably enabled by the bent officials) the difference between the two teams will prove to be the game at the Etihad when that shower of verminous scum could have won the league and we beat the ****s. Fine margins.

If you ignore the minor issue of a dozen dubious penalties, goalie fuckups, offside goals, olympic dives not to mention a handball goal

Just home, well worth the 9 hour round trip. What a team, didn’t think we were at our best but worked hard and never gave up.

Super VK to the rescue - I’m ashamed to say I said out loud “don’t shoot” (in my defence that was when he initially shaped to shoot before knocking it a few yards further forward before unleashing hell from his right foot). Made a blue next to me laugh after the celebrations died down.

Another iconic moment for him, incredible how many he has produced over the years.

That goal deserves the title so that it can be replayed regularly for the next few decades and beyond.

Just got off a horrific flight in dubai.....struggling to get connected walk in to a bar look up at the tv and BOOM! Liquid football

Clearly making my son go full kit wanker did the trick.

Ill need to bribe him again for the last match i guess, getting to be an expensive run in.

Sounded very uncommitted about Vinny coming back.

Knowing when it's time for the great ones to bow out is a talent. Most fans and media types never know it. They have to see the player at half mast before calling it.
I can see him at West Ham for a couple of years and rice coming this way. He’ll be back

It would seem weird to allow such a legend to leave and not announce it to allow a proper goodbye in the last home game. Although maybe he thought that it would distract from the task at hand.

nacho missed that chance on purpose, either way, whatever, but there was zero drive or commitment in that effort;)

Perhaps, but I think it has more to do with Nacho being a very average footballer. I had a good chuckle when he came on because I knew they became a weaker team in that moment.

How did Liverpool fare in the four matches we lost this season?

Leicester fans in the car park at the end of the game chanting “Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool”

After we applauded them off in the year they won the league, they’ve gone down in my estimations.

The stupid accent Scouse sympathising ****s

Vinny’s got the biggest bollox in the universe. Wish I could kiss the fcukers.

thanks for your wisdom Sir Alex but look at how many clean sheets and how steady we've been at the back in his games since he's come back, its not time to bow out yet, believe me i can be the most critical and i will know when its when,
and it ain't yet. ;)

Can't be arsed checking those 4 particular results, but the scousers have more points against the other 18 teams in the league than we do (when you take out the two games we played against each other). It's the 4 points more we gained on them (4, as opposed to 1 for them) that has swung it our way.

Fuck it; I checked their results in the corresponding 4 games that we lost. Beat Leicester 2-1 (Sept 1st), drew against Chelsea 1-1 (Sept 29th), beat Palace 4-3 (Jan 19th) and beat Newcastle 2-1 last saturday.
