Ahh, there it is. The first (possibly) of what will no doubt be many Dinho aged related comments this season.

I thought Dinho was excellent given the players around him

It was a definite penalty , but he played the game on and Leicester missed the resulting good chance , its either one or the other A) a penalty B) play-on , these new rules are laughable at times. Thank f*ck it was the Community Shield or i would have been writing a stiff letter to the F.A.

Disappointed Doyle didn't get a run out. His set piece delivery is top top class

leicester city was at full strength and even the 6 players that come on for them was their setup for the season

unlike manchester city who have the best part of our first team missing and they are best players in the premier league/europe/world/ to come back in. like i said before if city win today and the media and ITV would be all overs us about the money we have spent and going to spend in winning the community shield

Yeah don't do that. You're entitled to your own opinion, I don't get why so many on here get abuse just because they are not a happy clapper 24/7. It's a competition sometimes who can get the most likes for abusing someone who said something slightly negative. Fuck them.

The happy clappers,and those that need the likes,are predominantly those that create the disharmony and throw the abuse on the forum.

Disappointed that we lost as I hate losing no matter what competition that includes friendlies too.
Overall I thought we started slowly but with the players we had missing it's understandable.
After 30 minutes we started to play much better and were the better team.
Steffan played well
Mendy had a decent game
Cancelo was ok in patches
Dias was his usual self
Ake did well until he cocked up with the penalty
Fern was ok-ish
Palmer once he settled looked promising
Edozie looked nervous but improved
Torres was anonymous but didn't get much help
Mahrez was ok but off his normal game and looked shattered
Gundo did ok
Grealish will need to lay the ball off quicker as he won't get the fouls he did at Villa
Thought Tierney was his usual self.. ie a shit twat
The main thing is we got minutes into some of the players.
Hopefully we sign a goalscorer before we play Spuds.

3 people have called me a **** for daring to say we need a striker and I was gutted to lose the game mainly because the person I disagreed with is a long standing poster.

Last post after lurking on here for more than 15 years not gonna put up with abuse for having a different opinion to someone.

This forum has a large proportion of happy clappers ready to jump on anything they see as negativity.
I get grief all the time but it's water off a duck's back for me.
Keep lurking and comment when you want - While it may seem to be a heinous crime on this forum, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Just imagine that many of the happy clappers probably go to sleep at night in single beds, under City duvets tucked in by a carer. It makes reading their comments quite amusing.

I have zero concerns about Fern right now, especially as he was so good at the end of last season. But, isn’t it a completely valid concern for people to have considering he’s 37?

With any of Dias, Stones or Laporte at the centre we will be hard to beat , not forgetting Walker is a far better defender than Cancelo , defensively i have no worries but we are short of a goal poacher.

There's barely any different to what he was 2,3,4,5 years ago and he proved that last season.

What on earth did he do today to merit that comment ? Going forward he was excellent. Defensively he's not great but don't recall any serious errors. Overall he was far better than most City players today.

Did you see the vardy chance before half time? Or the Perez chance just before? He’s woeful defensively
