Pellegrini won the lotto taking over a gat squad which was defensively drilled by Mancini. Since then we have gone to shite. He's a fucking fraud. I doubt we will win anything this year but if by some fluke we do, it will be entirely despite Pellegrini rather than because of him.

Eccles can think he's as dreamy as she wants but he's totally without merit. Worst manager we have had since Pearce. Just with the best squad.
 
There doesn't seem to be any preparation looking into the opposition, we play into their hands every time and make the same mistakes every time. Most managers pick a team to beat the opposition but he just picks players, with no concept of how they work as a team and certainly how this lineup will compete against the opposition. The number of times that you read the pre match thread and everyone predicts the team that should play but believe that he will pick a totally different one and everyone can predict exactly what will happen, he picks his team and as predicted we are exposed. We can all see this before the game so why can't he? He is paid lots of money to see these things but he keeps making the same mistakes, he doesn't seem to have a tactical plan of how to win the game.

I have never seen a manager be so arrogant and send a team out with so little preparation that the formation plays right into our opponents hands. He's done it against Liverpool, Leicester and Arsenal. The only sides we have beaten in the top 10 is Southampton and Watford. It is simply not good enough.

As if MP would be ruining our season on purpose?? Not sure how you can say he sent a team out with little preparation. Have you attended every training session this week? Poor preparation, wrong set up and tactics maybe but to suggest there has been no preparation for todays game is plain silly.

Great idea - sack MP. Like Rafa will come to keep his slippers warm for Pep.

People need to grow up. We lost a game. Yes thats bad and the portents for the rest of the season are ominous but get a grip folks its every time we lose or have a bad performance that BM becomes embarasssing
 
Congratulations to Leicester and good luck to them; the better side on the day and it could even have been worse for us.

Pellegrini follows in a long line of managers who have failed to instill a work ethic, and while talented individuals have taken us so far, the lack of such an ethic means we are unlikely to cross the winning line in any of the four tournaments.

As if MP would be ruining our season on purpose?? Not sure how you can say he sent a team out with little preparation. Have you attended every training session this week? Poor preparation, wrong set up and tactics maybe but to suggest there has been no preparation for todays game is plain silly.

Done my very best this last 2 seasons to not be overly harsh on Pellers but today I'm fucking livid at the old mans stubbornness/naivety/cluelessness. Yoyo and Kolarov as team captains, a 2 man central midfield once again involving a mardarsed yaya against a pacy hard working team like Leicester, Delph stuck out on the wing, and using a slow as fuck Demi (Both physically and mentally it would seem) in defence is absolutely perplexing. He never learns.

He's had 3 seasons to push us forward and if anything we've done nothing but stagnate and go backwards. He struck it lucky in his first season with what was pretty much Mancini's team and with the managerial ineptitude of Rodgers and a couple of results from Chelsea/Crystal palace that gave him some breathing space. Since then We've been absolutely shite.

Don't really like to say it but I can't wait for him to be fucked off. Roll on June.
 
Fuck me that was bad. The whole midfield were fucking awful - every single one of them. All the people who want Yaya out of the club for not tracking back and being lazy, then they need to look at Silva as well - fucking abysmal again and no life in him, what the fuck has happened. Sterling.....Christ, what's wrong? As for the defence, what can be said about that first goal - Sunday fucking league.

On the bright side, we scored. Someone got their league debut.

Anyway, Spurs must be shitting it.
 
Is he trying to take revenge for getting fired? What was his gameplan? Beat them trough getting the balls to Kolarov who makes a shit cross after another shit cross? That seemed most of our plan whole game.

I think we only can win the league if we get a caretaker manager who gives us a bit of momentum and bit of belief, change of air call it what you want. Even that doesnt guarantee anything.

But with Pelle we are bound to lose everywhere, I am scared to be playing high tempo, pressing Pool in Wembley even idf they are shit because when they play us they will be different, then Kijev in CL will surprise us as well imo no matter how stronger our squad is.

Feelings apart i want pellegrini out as soon as possible with some players out also kolarov, toure, demichelis, fernando. some have to do better or the bench is awaiting them silva for not tracking, otamendi more on the floor than up sterling for his unability to find space.

just hitted a new low, cannot beat a top 6 team !! even during mancini era never city was embarrased at home.

play the same against liverpool and kiev then bye bye cl and the only opportuny of silverware this year
 
Absolutely sickening. With top spot up for grabs for a win, to put in a performance like that is unforgivable. I thought before the game that we may have to put up with a draw; how deluded was that? We were schooled by Leicester out there today. They wanted it more, simple as that. I dread to think what Kane, Alli etc etc will do to us next weekend.
 
at least Guardiola will have a plan a,b,c,d in the same game.

set the team up properly, watch the opposition, have a proper game plan.

I can easily see this side miss out on Chumps League football next season.

Its the kick up the backside we need as we have drifting downhill for a long time now.

We are no longer feared at home and we need a massive shake up in personnel.

No surprise . The charming man can't set his team against top teams and we lose by default . I said it before we can save our season by sacking him now, we won't win anything with him in charge not even the league cup.
 
Positives that I saw whilst watching the last 20 minutes:

Sergio and Kelechi continued showing glimpses of great interplay.

We might actually have a right winger who can put in a decent cross in Celina.

We didn't concede any more.
 
Diabolical performance. I find it hard to blame most of the players though. The Manager set up the wrong team, in the wrong formation, playing players out of position, not devising a plan to stop the oppositions predictable counters and having no clue going forward either. What are our tactics? Today they seemed to be get the ball out wide, and work the overlap with the fullbacks. Okay, fine, Kolarov was bombing on down the line, got into some great positions first half but had literally nobody to cross to time after time. The blame for that performance lies entirely with the manager. The worst thing is, he won't change a single thing for the visit of spurs next week and we'll get smashed yet again. We will win absolutely nothing this season with Pellegrini in charge. Thank god his days are numbered.
