I'm finding it hard to get annoyed but I think I've been sucked into the Leicester fairytale. They was amazing. Their tempo. Solid as fuck. Picked us off at will. If pep seen today's match he'd be thinking what the fuck have I done. It's clear as day we need major surgery, a full mot is required, we look jaded and it's only February. But fair fuck's to Leicester, the longer it goes on the more you want them to go all the way. Ranieri got laughed at by everybody when he got appointed but who's laughing now. I hope Leicester do it, goes to show you that you don't need to spend 250m to be at the top. As it stands the rags are 13pts behind the foxes......every cloud has a silver lining an all that.

was like a Fifa16 game today. 1 kid playing as Leicester and City being the horrendous Computer players that cant and dont know how to play football.

think anyone who has a clue about football know that Leicester are counter attacking team away from home, yet we play into their hands by parking our defensive line on the half way line so they have the freedom of our half to break into.

The simplest way to move a parked bus is to drop back, let them come out and open enough room to play. But we dont do that, we just press and press and try and force pur way in and they just counter.

At least under Mancini when teams did that, we had the quickness of movement and passing and precision to cut the bus apart. now we dont.

And why we cant defend has to be squarely pointed at Pellegrini, he simply doesn't know how to.

Up until now I've regarded Pellegrini as a bang average manager who has failed to get the best out of his players and has took us backwards in the three years he's been here.

I was wrong.

He's actually completely fucking useless and will be remembered as our worst manager since Stuart Pearce.

Actually I think that's harsh on Pearce, he kept us up in the Premier League despite having no money to spend on players.

Pellegrini is easily the worst manager we've had since the Sheikh took over, even clueless had some merits about him, this guy has none.

On the plus side Celina looked pretty good when he came on. Would like to see him, Roberts, Garcia, Iheanacho and Roberts get to play in the F.A cup at least.

Tbf it's easier said than done. Everyone knew they would sit back defend and counter attack did they not? They're very good at it though, their defence is rock solid very impressed with all their defenders tbh.
Makes it easier when you have a bank of midfielders in front of you as well.

We were so slow it was shocking.

he only got this season because pep agreed last summer already.... quite ironic that his successor kept him in a job for extra year. otherwise im pretty sure he would have been sacked. Khaldoon looked like he was about to kill someone in end of season interview.
I agree but it might have done more half than good long term. This squad is so far from being a pep squad, there's an embarrassing lack of technical ability for such a "top squad".

Try not to get too carried away after a defeat but that was just shocking.

Can't really understand where the logic came from to start Yaya, kolorov and Demichelis. Quite obvious we couldn't play how we usually do against a team designed to capitalise on a playing style such as ours.

Yaya and Kolrov have to go really don't they. Both just not fit or fast enough to play the way they want and warrant a place in the starting 11. Would have started Sagna at CB, or one of the youngsters, needed pace at the back that much was obvious.

Anyone who was wondering why Pellegrinis being replaced (can't imagine there's many) will now undertand after that sorry performance.

I'd put him on a par with Pearce.

Bitterly disappointed with the result today, the team let us down big time today, this should have been treated like a derby - a must win game and a lot of lack luster performances this season would have been forgiven.

I'm still not sure what happened, were they just not trying hard enough or was it one of those days where nothing was going right and they started feeling sorry for themselves?

I still can't believe it.... We got beat 3-1 at home to Leicester???

a manager thats won the league and cup worse than pearce hahahaha

He's destroyed everything Mancini built, giving him this season has set us back so far.

Give the man crush up FFS.

He won a double with a squad Mancini had destroyed, the same Mancini who is currently throwing it away again in Italy.

Pellegrini has ran his race and is gone in the summer, not before.

Don't like it watch Fucking Inter Milan.

Thank God this clueless old buffoon is gone. Ridiculous starting 11 and baffling substitutions.

Since Roberts is on loan to another club for the next year and a half that's unlikely! But I agree with your general point.

Hart, Zaba, KDB, Kun, Kompany,Silva,Kelechi, - Defiantly Keep next season
Fenandinho, Sterling, Clichy & Delph(only because both are HG) - keep but not starters
Otamendi(only because we havnt had him for even a year) , Mangala , Navas , Sagna, Caballero - sell if we can get a half decent price
MDM, Kolarov, Fernando , Bony(no lack of passion, hes just truly awful), Nasri, Yaya

this team should of been transitioning along time ago but we did what chelsea did and kept hold of a team that grew old together and just havnt been replaced, hence no hunger or energy in the team.

The ones in bold are the only leaders we have and 2 of them havnt played alot this season, so we have had Yaya captain (wtf , worst attitude in the team) and Kolarov (again wtf) i cant see why Zaba or Hart doesn't get the armband when Kompany isn't available.

Unfortunately there a big doubts on Zaba and Kompany going forward next season.

Good players for us for a long time but past their best now and injury plagued from now on.

I will put Silva's ordinary season down to injury as well but think under Pep if he gets himself right again he can play some good football.

Our transition has been poor over the past few seasons and the writing was on the wall last season already.

This season our lack of depth to cover injuries and the unwillingness of the side to do even the basics of football is a poor reflection on the management.

We might scrap into Chumps League next season but only on sufferance.

Then again having a season like Manure have had in the past and Chelsea might be the best thing for us.

Lethargy is rife within the squad now.

Sterling is gash. A one season wonder with Liverpool when Suarez was leading the line. He has the occasional decent game but the majority of the time his touch is awful, passing is awful, shooting is awful and just seems clueless when he's got the ball. The only way he can beat a man is if he has a ton of space to knock the ball into so he can use this pace to beat them. We'd have been better off with Bolasie...

Leicester are a good team. why is that a shock that they beat us ?

I agree. It makes it harder too when you have no direct dribbler in your side. Look at Bayern Ribery Robben Costa. Madrid, Bale Isco. Barca Messi Neymar. Psg Lucas Di Maria. We literally have nobody that can directly beat a man and create space that's why we're so easy to defend atm. We thought Sterling would be that but he's very limited.
