Rubbish mate, he's more than good enough just let down by Yaya and co. today.

Delph is an average english midfield player (i.e. runs about a lot with a good engine) his passing, tactical awareness and positional play is bang average.

Anyone saying bad day at the office, league isn't won in February etc seem to forget the standard of football we are playing now and have been playing all season

6 losses already (3 at home)
No back to back league wins since october
A defence that doesn't look organised
A midfield that doesn't look organised.
A manager that doesn't learn from his mistakes and continues to play the same way whatever happens.

There will come a time when the "in 4 trophies so everything's rosy" line just won't be a valid excuse anymore.

It was a dreadful day and the manager needs to take most of the blame for the way he set up the team. The slowest back 4 he could pick? against their speedy counter attack. School boy stuff.

However some of the players need a rocket.

Yaya- No desire and legs have gone. Ducked a 50/50 in first minute.

Sterling - Total waste of money. Is he any better than Lopez? Not for me. He won't take his man on, soft, poor control and hasn't got a football brain, doesn't know where to run. We've been ripped off Big Time. He's a £5 player not £50 million. Get Rid! Wish he got injured and not KDB.

Otimendi - Jumps in, rash, slow, any better than Mangala? Was he worth the money? No!

We've been predictable for months. Spurs will be the same next week and with trips to Anfield, Stamford Bridge and St Mary's, it's difficult to be positive in thinking we can win it.

Roll on summer and Pep and get some of the overpaid, overrated players out.

Absolute fucking disgrace today. Was so predictable how Leicester would play today yet zero thought seemed to have gone into team selection, formation and tactics. The players that were picked, with a couple of exceptions, showed so little desire and fight it was scary - losing out in tackles and headers all over the park. Owned by fucking Robert High, wtf!!! What happened to the battling qualities we used to have???

Is it safe to come in yet? Shite all round think some have been told they're on their way tbh .. Ah well. I still think it's ours. (Am probably more a glass half full type..)

Now Spurs fucking winning.

This season has gone to absolute shit and we've got Pellegrini to blame for it.

We've been battered off Leicester, Stoke, Spurs and Liverpool. It's an absolute joke.

Top 4 is absolutely not a certainty.

Sterling's number one asset is pace - the same for Navas (yes I know he didn't play today!). In theory we should be able to break in the manner that Leicester do and add that capability to our game, but we don't.

We play one dimensional football that relies on us having (and keeping) possession, and eventually breaking down a team. The moment we face a team who are willing to win the ball back, or hold possession in their own right we struggle. Leicester are clinical on the break and in their finishing and we paid the price for that like most teams have this season.

Leicester were better than us. They thoroughly deserved the win.

The team should be watching Leicester videos as an example of how we need to have that option in our own game - to sit deeper and counter teams. Sterling and Navas should be two immediate outlets on the break - either left or right sided, with KDB or Silva plus Aguero through the middle. There's enough speed there to frighten anybody. Sadly we frighten nobody now.

As a slight counterbalance I thought Leicester were excellent and deserved their win.

They have a team where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. They play to their strengths - pace of Vardy, skill of Mahrez and energy of Kante and Drinkwater - and as soon as they went one up then the gamewas absolutely suited to them.

First time I've seen them live this season and I was really impressed - and if they win the league then it'll be an unbelievable achievement.

Can't see winning fuck all with those tactics. Seems like this pep thing has got most of the players thinking fuck it I won't be here next year anyway. Just want this season over. I still don't think Leicester will win league. They are going through we are invincible and everybody loves us stage. It will look soon stop in a few weeks.

against the fastest and liveliest team in the league we play demichelis and kolarov instead of sagna and clichy and yet again persist with yaya as a D/M.

well done to leicester city you deserved it.

Fair play to them. Very well drilled & hardworking. Simple basic football, sure, but they don't have great players & they are making the absolute best of what they have.

We on the other hand play like we don't give a fuck & have been set up by a 12 year old playing on his computer

If we are not careful top 4 might not be any kind of certainty
I can't see how we can be top four, the up coming matches will have us exhausted. and we're be too far behind to play catch up. Rags, Spurs, Arsenal and of course Leicester will leave us trailing. This could be a disaster of a season. The players have been a disgrace pretty much all season and Pep will have a lot of clearing out to do and not many will be here to stake a place in his team. Only Fernandinho,Navas, Aguero and possibly Silva look like they fit into Peps work ethic

Generally your talking bollocks. The team needs a manager who does his job, ours doesnt give a shit.

I still think we will get top four, performances haven't been great but we will do more then enough to finish in the top four.

Very disappointing all round today.

The tactics, the defending, our attacking, our commitment and confidence was poor today. Kolorov, Sterling and even Silva were poor today. Though On a brighter note, that Celina looked OK for the short time he was on.

Well done to Leicester, reminded me of how we used to play in his first season and under Bobby.

Top 4 is still an enormous underachievement considering the way the league has gone this year. Even that's optimistic the way we're playing.

If we had a manager with anything about him, we'd be pissing this league.

Need more pace and dynamism. Half the squad don't bring that but all the EDS players do. If celina can put in a ball like that one today then he needs more game time. Showed more in his short cameo than silva has in months.

Delph, Sterling, Otamendi and Fernandinho need to start every match. No place for dying legs in this league anymore. Silva looks shades of what we know he can be and Yaya can't even do a job further up now.
Agree with you . Silva getting older but still can be utilised
Yaya too . Both do not deserve the favour they have right now . It is time for Manuel to do something about the ageing players . He better do it fast because we are running out of games . This is a warning - come end of February we may not be in contention for anything . Up to him . If he wants to maintain his good reputation then he will do something to change things speedily . Celina is a positive at least .
C'mon Manuel sort this out .
