He actually defends, and seeing as he's a defender that's a good thing in my opinion.
Just because he doesn't take every corner or free kick like Baines does shouldn't be used against him.
If Aleks goes then we'd need a left back, a back up level one at that because even Zabs has played that position extremely well.

Stop panicking and calm down.
And the lack of CL has everything to do with it as the club board want us to succeed in the CL next season which is one of the main reasons why RM was fucked off and the likes of Fernandinho was chosen over other targets.

They won't be any weaker next season other than perhaps the lack of taggerts influence on refs and the players not quite being as scared of Moyes hairdryer!

I'd get involved just to push the price up.
He's a good player and imo is slightly better than Evra. He isn't a 'game changer' or 'game winner' though so I'm not bothered that they'll sign him.
I expect to see Mirallas making the same move to, whilst Nani get jibbed.
