The fact that a few weeks ago, all the UK papers were basically saying he hasn't decided yet and it's still all up in the air, and today all the headlines are "Utd in last minute bid to snatch Pep from City" indicates that they all know he's coming to City and are just trying to sell papers. Everyone in Germany is convinced he's City-bound anyway
 
under contract at Bayern Munich so united would be in breach of tapping up a manager

L'Equipe could be wrong, so could Martin Samuel who is simply a columnist at the Dail Fail of all papers. Martin Samuel despite all his sources didn't know anything about the Chinese deal, now did he?
It's funny that we mainly state not to trust the papers. It seems to be the case unless it's something nice about City.
I personally get sick and tired reading these daily stories about Pep. And all these clowns and papers who say they are ITK. And the people who simply believe it because they so much want Pep to join City. I hope he comes to us, either this summer or the next one. If it happens, I will be happy. If it doesn't happen I'm sure our owners have a few more tricks on their sleeves to keep our club progressing one way or the other.

He's coming to City in the Summer.
I find it bizarre how any City fan could reach any other conclusion. In fact I'll pay for your flights, tickets and accommodation to any game of your choice next year if he's not managing us.

Now if any one here who are as sure as you offer me the same deal, I might be able to get myself a seasonticket. If Pepe won't come that is.

Fuck it, I'll make it a season ticket and first class flights. Will even throw in some 'entertainment' at your 5 star hotel. :-)
 
I like the idea of Pep deliberately leading the rags on to make them think they're in with a chance, however small. This will confuse any plans they have for getting someone in to replace the turtle who may then stay or, make the family man's accession to the throne more likely. At some point City announce Pep's signing and it's a win-win for us.
