Is it really that much?every club in England is about to get an extra £100m per year.

Is it really that much?
The new television deal that runs from next season is worth a staggering £9bn over three years, meaning clubs will be earning an average of £120million per campaign. And that is before a match ticket or replica shirt is sold, or a sponsorship deal struck.
This kid has great talent & indeed impressed so much that he looked as good as our impressive kids looked many times in the same competition, then gets games in the first team, now is sought after & perhaps we will buy him. We buy Patrick Roberts, another who impressed vs us, in a game full of impressive City players & stick him on potato peeling duty.
Kids who impress just as much but with a City shirt on, off to Barnsley or Rotherham. Another kid who looked possibly as good as our own kids, is Jerome Sinclair who we are rumoured to be pinching from Liverpool.
I wonder how much we would pay for Denayer if he'd played against us for someone like Anderlecht, or Brandon Barker if he'd ripped us a new arsehole playing for Celtic or Leicester, like he's done to so many of our opponents whilst playing for us.
What the fuck, is going on ?
I know you want the youth players to come through but you cannot seriously be comparing Patrick Roberts and his occasional game in the Champinship, or Brandon Barker and his good performances in the FA youth cup to a kid who's been playing in the Bundesliga & Champions League for 3 years and has been called up for the German National team?
No one could surely be that fucking stupid.
It's a sound enough point. Which you've misunderstood.
These big money young players have become what they have because they were trusted at their clubs, they showed early promise and ability, their clubs have given them senior football and they've developed into the players they have as a result.
We haven't done that under Manuel, at all.
Denayer is a prime example. Kelechi also.
It's not about directly comparing players as they stand at present, but wondering what our youngsters could achieve here should we place trust in them the way other clubs have their young talents.

Those kids train with the first team every day. Clearly they don't impress the staff who watch them play enough to actually make him think they can do a job yet.
The club's policy on youth is well established. Khaldoon said it in his interview and Kompany said it on the Sky Sports CFA special. They want to bring through kids but not at the expense of the first team.
