no need to panic yet the summer is very early here. I'm sure more noise will be made after euros
I'm panicking a bit because I wonder why he can't give his club a call and sort things out.Marc Wilmots confirmed that Michy Batshuayi underwent a medical before finishing this deal with Chelsea. Why do we seem to be the only ones hampered by this " wait till after Euros" deal? Especially since Sane looks like he will never see any game time this go around. What kind of distraction can his pose if he's not being used?

I see your point but even if he isn't playing his focus will still be on the national team. Get what you're saying mate but I think maybe no news is good news

It's one hell of a pickle for the kid. He very well could be like a deer in headlights and hasn't a clue what the best path is for him to take. 1) You make a name for yourself at the club and are succeeding and in a comfort zone. 2) You get the offer from the best coach on the planet to come play for him. New league, new country, new team, and more pressure 3) You get the call from Bayern to come play for them and you can reward your current team that brought you up, stay, develop, and stay in your comfort zone. You also prevent yourself from doing what most germans won't do and that's leave while turning down glorious BM. 4) Now you get to add up the risks/rewards for both.

I think I'm staying if I'm him to be honest. Everything is set up nicely for him. Staying is the safer route and probably comes with less what if's. Too any variables and risks to come here.

The addition of Embolo who isn't a like for like replacement at all appears to be more inline with replacing Hunterlaar than Sane insurance. Have to wonder if Sane waiting to see the moves city makes. KDB and Silva have two spots locked down. Pep has given Sterling assurance and the addition of Nolito would resign Sane to the bench.

None of the players you mention will play Sane's position IMO.

Sadly, this has been my internal conclusions too. If he comes, he is either poorly advised, has some balls of steel, or both.

But then again I had the same doubts about Kelechi picking City over his offers from Portugal and Spain. And it turns out his decision has been right.

But his was still easier than Sane's. If I'm Sane, I'm staying and joining Bayern in a year.

I want a player that will say I am ambitious enough to take a risk to play for the best manager in the world. Staying is safe. Giving yourself over to Pep could ultimately make you one of the best players in the world. Hope he has those balls of steal.

We all do. But a 20 yearold is a 20 yearold. Friends family support system etc are all in Germany. We are asking a 20 yearold with options to choose the riskier and more dangerous route.

Sure Pep can make him better, but he 8s more likely to get better playing one more year at Shalke, honing his skills, before upping the Challenge. The fact that the best club in his home country is already giving him.that option while we aren't, suggests we are the risky option.

There are 100s of great young players who joined big clubs early and half of them are fading. The Danish kid at Real, the Croat at Barca, Kenedy at Chelsea, the Costarican kid at Arsenal, the Asian Messi at Arsenal etc. It is tough for young players to excel at big clubs. The longer you can hone your skills at a mid club the better.

I wouldn't hold it against him if he made the choice to stay. Even though I would rather he came here.
