I certainly did, but we knew his pedigree, but it just didn`t happen for the lad. Excellent player though for his other clubs and I thought we`d done a great transfer. How wrong could we all have been. ;)

Very true although Fowler did score a few important goals for us but probably be remembered for that last minute penalty miss against Middlesbrough which would have guaranteed us entry into Europe.
Who would have thought a couple of years or so later we would win our first PL Trophy.
