Call me selfish but I'm delighted to see City players being pulled from international squads for little niggles. The rags have been doing this for years but we've been too accommodating, the likes of Silva, Kompany and de Bruyne have suffered injuries on international duty.
It's no surprise to me that we had a good patch of form just after a significant number of players left out of international squads in the last break. The more players left at the CFA the better. If Sane can have two good weeks working with Pep before the Everton match then we might just get to see the best of him.
So he plays vs Russia U21 tomorrow! I don't envy my compatriots :)They actually took him to the U21 and not to the national team so he can play 2 full matches - match time he right now does not get at City. And I could imagine that a talk between Pep and Löw was the cause for that. It right now does not really matter if it is Sane, Brandt or Meyer that go to the U21 or the national team.

Because I have an interview of Sane on the DFB website Tuesday and he is in the training video from yesterday. And the German media is planning him in for the match at 18:00 today vs Russia.
