Shame he chose tonight to be inconsistent. he had soooo much of the ball and in some good areas but did very little with it.

We only had him as an out ball.. Silva was excruciatingly bad and Sane soon joined in the malaise.

Sane's final ball was very poor tonight , possibly his most ineffective game since he came here and he had to save it for these f*ckers at Anfield , he made Terence trent Darby look a decent full back , Sane was that bad. But just watch him go at the Etihad next week he will murder that Dipper defence

He was coming inside too much tonight, one point in the second half he’d isolated Lovren wide on the left and instead of just rinsing him for pace on the outside he paused and turned back. Expected him to destroy the young right back tonight but I guess it’s easy to forget Leroy is just a kid himself and still has lots to learn.

Not a lot went right for tonight but he was the only way I could see us getting something from the game. Gundogan did nothing, neither did Jesus. Sterling came on and offered little. Sane was our only outlet.

Not good enough tonight and there's no excuse when he can muller better full-backs to death. Time for him to man up.
