He has a long way to go yet, was probably the most affected at Anfield and tonight was offside so many times he didn't need to be simply be - but he's young and we just have to wait unfortunately. You learn from winning and losing and this season with the highs in the league and cup, and...well 1 week of lows...will be a great learning experience for Sané and Jesus and a few others.

Thought he was gonna put that full back through a meat grinder after that booking, but he didn't want to go after him. There were many times he was 1 v 1 and Sane didn't have a go.

Surprised he didn’t attack their left back more, especially after his booking in the first half.
Think it took him until around the 75th minute to try him on the outside again. Too much respect shown to both their fullbacks.

I hate to say this but Silva needs to know when to release the ball to Sane, he holds the ball for too long and it kills Sane's run, Sane is a one two type of player like Neymar, when he gives the ball he runs behind the defender expecting you to give it back to him. Silva didn't do that today.
