About his position, don't you guys think he could really reach his next level by starting to play more on the right flank? I cannot understand why Pep is not moving him to the right. I know that he always played Robben/Ribery on right/left, using their strong feet to cut inside. This season we've seen Sterling start a few games on the left which I really like. But Sané has barely been playing on the right wing which is very surprising to me. He has such a great left foot and strong shot, and I feel he would come to goal scoring opportunities more often. Usually when he dribbles passed a defender on the left side, he wants to cut inside, turning into his weaker right. The benefits of him playing left is his great crossing but I feel he could really shine on the other side. Just imagine Mohamed Salah on the left side for Liverpool. He probably would have scored fewer goals from there.

It definitely sounds great as he's got a great shot on him but he'll need to improve/become more effective with his first touch for that imo. Pep has previously said that right now Sane aren't good enough to play inside their full back/more centrally. Also with Mendy injured he's a great tactical fit on the left to keep width.
 
Double-edged sword that. You get more goals from him probably but you also neutralize his service to others as his right foot is there just to have a balance.

I think Leroy is very happy here according to reports. I don’t know how long he has left on his deal but with his age and undoubted high quality I think it would cost an absolute fortune for another club to buy him.

Think you have a point there, didnt have greatest of games but never stopped running and there were worse performers as well (like against newcastle). Played well against Burton and Huddersfield, got hooked despite that.
 
Leroy is a superb athlete and player. Like a lot of high class wingers can drift in and out of games, but whilst he remains on the field with his undoubted brilliance can always change a game
 
Thought he was terrible tonight (when he wasn’t offside), something not right with him at the moment
