You see players do this every week. David Silva is a master of it.

Ask any seasoned pro and they'll tell you the same.

No issue at all with Sané dishing out a bit back.

As for stats, they are totally up to interpretation. And watching a game live gives you a perspective you don't get on video. That's why scouts watch player live several times.

Regards Sané and today, if Aguero, Fernandinho or Silva leave one on a player, it's generally considered part of the game, rightly so.
You have no issue with a player potentially getting banned, needlessly, for three games for genuine violent conduct?

I know all fans are fickle but reverse the roles and everyone is calling Lowton a shithouse and a cünt.

Inexplicably stupid and an undoubted shithouse move from Sané that very fortunately was infront of Jon Moss. I see no other way anyone can view it, City player or not. It's not "part of the game", Christ, he tried to punt him out of the stadium.

Hopefully he realised putting the ball in the net was the better comeback rather than acting like he just drank his first beer.

Disagee. There’s a certain bit of policing that the players do themselves. I’m fine with Leroy sticking his neck out there and being apart of the process. I’m witn @schfc6 here.

No, it’s not logical but it is a part of sport.

I'd much rather he/none of our players act that way, that we all deride others for, and not needlessly miss any games. So they can just continue to outperform teams instead.

That's not only logical but actually the essence of sport. Not some unwritten rule.

Must be an old fashioned take for some odd reason.

A cynical pull back does not merit a blunt kick to the legs. Childish to do it and childish to condone it. Actually is mad on here at times.

I think that was one of his best performances for us,he displayed the industry and attitude a few have been stating he lacked,he had the bit between his teeth and i want to see more.......However......The kick out was silly,it could and should have been a red.We have been screaming injustice for the past couple of seasons in situations where the opposition have done similar to our players,so lets not then be hypocrites.

He will learn from the incident,Pep will make sure.

.. ‘come bite me’ I’ll meg you 21 times and shag your sister for doing it (:

Totally agree Pudge, Sane briefly saw red and could have seen red

I think you need to watch it again. It is a dirty trick, but it's never a sending off, not in a million years.

I thought Leroy having a nibble or two was fantastic.

Took a hard body check and said nothing. A few minutes later he got his own back.

He did it with an ice cold smirk too.

If his name was Gareth Barry or Mark Noble people would be saying brilliant stuff and it's a part of the game. But because it's Sane, people say he's arrogant and petulant.

Give over, he played a blinder with it.

Fine. Just don't complain when the likes of Danny Murphy give out the advice that other players should let us know were in a game, and get physical with us. Next time someone leaves one on KDB, and we lose him for eight weeks, then that's no problem. Just part and parcel of the modern game.
