All he does (IMO) is take long shots, which are usually wide. Infact, 9/10 are very wide.

If he loses the ball, he'll chase it, 9/10 times giving away a freekick.

He's a battler and yes, similar to Tevez & Bellamy im some ways id say, but I wouldn't ever, ever want to see him at City. I dont think he's good enough and having paid what they did for him, for me, I think they (scum) feel them have to play him and make him a success.

Others will disagree, but his scoring record speaks for itself. Not good enough.

PS - I know he plays/ played alot on the wing, but so did Robinho and look at his goals last season.

I'm sorry but you can't use Ronaldo as a yard stick to measure any other players performance off. he is a complete one off. No-one scores that many goals from the wing apart from him.

Also, Ronaldo was a specialist winger. Rooney isn't but has been played there to accomodate other players. His preferred position is in the hole and if he is played there this year I predict he will be in the top 3 scorers in the Prem.

He has also scored 24 in 52 at international level. Pretty prolific in his preferred position.

Ronaldo? I compared him to Robinho.....

Sorry my mistake, but my point still stands. In his preferred position he is a 1 goal in 2 player.

Robinho and Rooney can both play wing and up-front. Both cost more or less the same and the stats speak for themselves :)
