I have to say I thought it was a dig at Moyes, in Hughes's view he isn't the decision maker.

True. Couldnt care less one way or another now tbh, if we do sign him them my reaction will be "oh right fair do's". We start the league tomorrow I just hope we win and prove we are ok to wait, if we lose then the shit will hit the fan big time. We could have brought in someone else by now rather than waiting to sign Lescott. Tbf I think this is now an ego battle between Hughes and Moyes rather than a player/club issue.
