When he came back i was very cynical about his motives. He's won me over since.

SWP never wanted to leave us till he heard our board had bitten Chelski's arm off when they offered us 21m for him. The money saved us from administration and he's back now.

you cant doubt his managerial abilities but this year i think everton will struggle without a top striker, no goal-scoring CB and only £20M in the bank

We have a 20 goal a season striker in Yakubu, Saha could chip in 5-10 and Jo could probably get us about 15.

hope jo scores a bucketload for you,then when his loan deal finishes city price him at.....oooh let's say £30 mill

Great performance today, we will improve not had much of a pre season with our best 11 we will get better which is good news.

The question is do we really need Lescott for £22 million ? I am not so sure dont really want to loose Dunne to a rival exellent for cover at least. As much as he pissed me off I think Distain for cover would be decent for £4 million even less and better if they took ben haim and or Benjani. Taylor at Newcastle, upson if less than £10 million. Leave Everrton with an unhappy unsettled player and no money to sign new players, be much happier with us doing that.

Its job done we have caused plenty of trouble over at Everton so its a win for us regardless.
