to those of you who seem to view moyes as in the wrong here, get a grip, lescotts in a contract- even if you put in a request to leave it doesnt mean jackshit.

If, like some suggests, he stops training/playing - thats a breach of contract and he'd be sued so hard even the Sheik's money wont be enough :)

and in the real world.....wake up and put the fosters down.......no team in the prem wants to field a player that is not "for the cause"........£18 million or let a player sit in reserves.....its a business.

Ok, deep breaths and count to ten Garry.

I just hope we don't end up buying him for 25m.. if anything, the price should have gone down since the transfer request.

my feelings exactly ....we have now have the upper hand as everton have a player that does not want to be there, a manager who is slagging that player off and a desperate need for cash. a reduced offer of £12 million

Stop talking bollox mate, anyone with a semblance of knowledge of the way that football works in the real world will no that Moyes has handled this incredibly poorly!

The minute the transfer request went in, that was that, he should have sold.

Do you think that Moyes said no to Everton whilst P.N.E manager because he was under contract?

NO, did he fuck!

your suggesting selling someone as soon as he requests to leave and not honoring contracts is part of the 'real world'?
Im a corporate lawyer, and you know what, in the real world you dont just do whatever you please. if you have a contract you honour it unless a provision can be made with your contract.
