If it get's us CL football, then 25million will not really matter.

In the past it seems to have always come down to the 3rd offer on players. IMO we should calculate how much we lose "not" having that strength in the squad, more than the initial outlay on buying him.

£25 million is a lot when

1. He won't want to play left back cause he hates it there
2. He isn't better than Toure, Kompany or Nedum

and i wouldnt pay 10 million for him, i would rather we got someone who hasnt got a serious injury record...
