Even without Terry. Lescott and Vinny is pretty fucking formidable.

If we dont get Terry we will just get someone else and the same goes for Lescott. The defence was the area that needed the most strengthening from the start. We were the highest scorers outside the top 5 last season even without our new forwards yet our defence was by far the worst in the top 10.

I cant believe we will go into the new season without at least 2 new centre halfs....we need them badly at the end of the day.

We will get Lescott - will offer £20 million he will demand the transer (already rumoured he has put in a transfer request)

If we can get Tevez off the rags, Barry when Liverpool wanted him bad and even go close to getting Terry we should be able to get Lescott from Everton.....

Agree entirely and we will get them no way did Tevez et al come to score 4 only for us to concede 6 2 of which came from our ex-captain

Good post Alera I agree with you, 2 experienced centre half’s along with Onuoha minimum. Dunne will be gone despite what Hugh's says publicly IMHO. I also think we might sign a left back because if Lescott doesn't sign we have limited cover (Gary isn't top 4 material before anyone mentions him).

Even though David Moyes said he has is not for sale, our bid is £15m and I don't think that's enough. If we decide to offer £20m then Everton will have no other choice but to sell him.

I agree, 20 million and they wont have a choice, they need the money!
I think Lescott will hand in a transfer request anyway, if i was him i'd rather go to a club who has an exciting project and are signing world class players like Barry, Tevez and maybe Adebayor and are looking to break into the top 4, than stay at Everton a club with no funds behind them, who wont be bringing in any world class players and will continue finishing in 5th, 6th, 7th postion and qualifying for the Europa League.
I just hope he thinks the same though lol
