Reports emerging suggesting Everton ready to get Gary Cahill from Bolton to replace him and have some left over. Sounds like things should progress quite soon then.

Be a great signing for Everton. SLip seamlessly into their team.

Not had the consistency of lescott i.e 2-3 seasons playing at a high level, but if your talking 5-8 million, Everton have a good replacement,Jo and 12 million in the bank.

Everybodys happy

Apart from Bolton!

Haha,Fuck them tbf. Hated Megson since he was shuffling around in our midfield.

I'd offer them £18m plus Onouha on season long loan. Its win win. We get one of our main targets, they get a ready replacement & Onouha gets first team football in a world cup year. Whats more it'll suit us long term as I believe Nedum will be awesome after another full season of first team football. Maybe this will happen once we have signed another CB (to play alongside lescott this year).

Just my opinion mind

I'm an Everton fan and I wouldn't be happy. I'm sure he's a good player but he's no better the Joey Yobo so for the price we'd pay it wouldn't be worth it. I highly doubt they'd sell him for £5m-£8m either, especially if we got good money for Lescott.

Jo & £12m isn't a good deal for us. We dont really want Jo permanantly (or at least not until he's had a full season and proved himself), so we'd end up with a player were not that arsed about and a fairly decent but not world class CB to replace Lescott?

I fail to see how this is a good deal.

£15m & Onuoha would be a far better deal as we'd replace Lescott with a very promising you CB and that would leave £15m to strenghten other areas. We already have Jo for a year so I can't see him being used as a bargaining tool.

I understand City fans wouldn't see my proposal as a good deal for them, but as Lescotts our player and he hasn't asked for a move then we hold all the cards

That doesn't really mean much though. None of our players have publicly asked for a transfer, so its safe to assume none of aour players have done so in private. I dont buy into all this ITK bollocks, there's people on here saying he hasn't travelled to The US with the rest of the squad before they are scheduled to leave, people saying he's agreed terms already, people on the Everton boards saying he's told people he loves it at Everton and wont leave unless the club force him out etc etc etc.

If were dealing in hard facts City have offered £15m and its been rejected. Lescott hasn't asked to leave and Everton haven't quoted City £30m.

He may not have officially asked for a move yet but, based on knowledge one Bluemoon member gained from an Everton First Team player, he most certainly is interested in joining City. If we come back in with an improved offer (which I suspect we will) and this is also rejected (which it probably will be) then I'd be expecting Lescott to make his wishes known, privately at least.
