That doesn't really mean much though. None of our players have publicly asked for a transfer, so its safe to assume none of aour players have done so in private. I dont buy into all this ITK bollocks, there's people on here saying he hasn't travelled to The US with the rest of the squad before they are scheduled to leave, people saying he's agreed terms already, people on the Everton boards saying he's told people he loves it at Everton and wont leave unless the club force him out etc etc etc.

If were dealing in hard facts City have offered £15m and its been rejected. Lescott hasn't asked to leave and Everton haven't quoted City £30m.
He may not have officially asked for a move yet but, based on knowledge one Bluemoon member gained from an Everton First Team player, he most certainly is interested in joining City. If we come back in with an improved offer (which I suspect we will) and this is also rejected (which it probably will be) then I'd be expecting Lescott to make his wishes known, privately at least.

Yeah like I said I dont buy all this ITK bollocks. When there were articles going round recently that some rich middle eastern dude had bought a 60% stake in a unnamed premier league club some guy came on our forums and said "i've a source high up at Everton, he says its us and the deal will be completed by the end of the week... ban me if i'm wrong". Guess what he was wrong as the story was a total fabrication. Some people look at a story and think that the most likely outcome is x, so they state they know x is true so they then look like they are ITK when it happens.

I'm dealing in cold hard bollocks here.

Lescott wants to move.

And Everton will sell if the price is right.

State your source or the above is true

Regardless of the "Lescott wants to move" statement (which I personally have had corroborated by a Bluemoon member, and no I'm not willing to say which Everton player they corroborated it with), the second statement is undoubtedly true. Unless you're owned by a billionnaire then every player has his price, what that price is is open to debate however. Everton WILL sell if the price is right, whether City offer a price Everton deem to be "right" is a different matter, and a matter that will undoubtedly be affected by the validity of the first point.

I find it hard to believe that an Everton player would be telling Man City fans of Lescott's intentions. Moyes would kick them out of the club within 5 seconds of finding out if that happened, and I would expect our players to be far more professional then that.

I agree every player has his price, I also believe City will probably end up with Lescott. However I dont believe that one of our players is unprofessional enough to go round telling some guy who posts on Blue Moon that Lescott wants to join City... very far fetched!

Some people are ITK about certain things, that's undeniable. A huge number of ITK people talk bollocks, that too is undeniable.

For what it's worth the Bluemoon member doesn't have a track record of bullshit and I'd say was about as reliable as you can get via a website like this.

I have been informed of the specific player who has provided the information, and the connection between this player and the Bluemoon member. This seems a legitimate link.

Those two things being said I'd be fairly confident in the validity of the information. There's always the chance that the Everton player mentioned is intentionally misleading with his information, but that would seem an unlikely thing to do given the connection between the two.

Obviously you can believe any or none of this, and I've no way of providing you with anything more specific, but to simply discount it with a statement such as "I don't buy all this ITK bollocks" is a touch naive, as mentioned above SOME ITK's are legitimate, and this one has all the hallmarks of it.

To you and I he's "some guy who posts on Bluemoon". To the Everton player the connection is obviously far more than that and hence the player has possibly felt compelled/coerced into passing on potentially 'delicate' information. The reason this information is being posted very "cloak and dagger" is because the player in question doesn't want anyone to know where this information has come from, for the very reasons I'd suspect you've mentioned above.

Some ITK's can be legitimate, however more often then not its either just someone making something up, or looking at the most likely outcome and stating they know x is fact when they dont but will probably get lucky.

You may think i'm naive, however to take something as being true without any proof what so ever could also be described as being a tad naive. Its easy to spin a web of lies and create a background story to make it more believable. I would be shocked if an Everton player would knowingly inform a poster on Blue Moon of Lescotts intentions... would be quite suprised if the players knew of Lescotts intentions at all if he was expecting to leave. Moyes builds a team on spirit, I dont think the spirit in the camp would be very good if they knew Lescott was asking to leave.

Out of interest what transfers has this guy broken before the papers picked up on it?

State your source or the above is true

My source is an email from a high-ranking official at Everton. Which I still have.

Look at the list of wum and itk now take that small percentage of itk and adjust for those that have made a guess and got lucky. The result is that whilst there may be 1 or 2 paeople who have shared genuine info, youre much more likely to be being spun shite than anyhting else. As long as everyone realises that, no harm done.

Hi Dave, are you an employee of Manchester City? How do you know this high ranking official from Everton?

None, as his sole claim to be an "ITK" is a connection to a specific member of Everton's first team. The only reason he has this information is because he specifically asked the question regarding Lescott's intentions, and received at answer which he passed on to ourselves. His trustworthyness is based upon length of membership, track record in NOT being a pisstaking bullshit artist and method of posting the information received (one post, no drama, no bragging, no attempts to milk any potential adulation etc).
