30million for lescott is way over the top and you know it.
i would pay half that, tops. i think we should walk away, leaving everton to stand still in the transfer market. theres better than him out there for loads less, plus it would get rid of you ***** off here!
I think alot of todays valuations are over the top so why should we settle for less than the going rate and what we value our player at? Not going to happen, we have a stubborn Scot in charge. Moyes should just come out and tell Sparky, meet the valuation NOW or go away and play with your new train set!
Seems like that's what he's done.

The attitude of some City fans who see their club splashing money about is getting annoying. I wish City fans could think back 5 years ago to when Chelsea came raiding for Wright-Phillips. And not long before that we were in the old Div 3. Not all City fans are as arrogant as this thread might suggest.

I think City will start the season with the existing defence, and maybe look to strengthen in January or next Summer. No point buying for the sake of it, and I don't see any central defenders who are available who are any better than what we have. No doubt they are out there, but it's a gamble to take someone from another League / division.

It will take time for City to build a team, and Everton could well finish above City this season.

All these fans who are laughing at everton will be the first to slam Hughes and the players if they don't win their first few games.

1) can you prove that he was going to pull the plug ( didnt think so ). That however still doesnt answer the point of where were everton at the negotiations dont knock those that have tried before you have yourself

2) You have consistently finished above us and you got to an FA Cup final but what have you won. Nothing thats what, ill say it again 2nd place is first loser

3)Do you genuinely think we are going to bend over for everton after this your kidding right.

Basically you have said nothing really, your well organised whoopy do and you said villa have players who can turn a game out of nothing, cos thats really where we are lacking, basically your whole perception lies on us not gelling and you being settled.

Do you know hughes well then and have intimate choice of his team selections. How do you know he doesnt know his best 11 is. If you lot are so not bothered about us why are you on here with your veiled digs and nonsense arguments
i agree, some very good points there. I am confident MH will get his man I think JL will have to hand in a transfer request

well said

we've got a collection of very good players but now is the time for Hughes to turn the into a team and a squad. This will take time and we have a chance of doing better than Everton but there no guarantees.

I think we should pull out of this everton wont let him go untill alot more stages and i kno we have the money but this is damn right stupid 19,000,000 is more than enough!

Agreed.

I, for one, wish Everton some luck. They've had no proper money to build, and have done well under tight circumstances. Their fans are mostly alright too in non-internet life.

I am happy to leave this one, we can get a player like Hangerland or Upson that will do almost as good a job, cost half the money and it means Everton wont be able to strengthen.

Plus they have an unsettled player now. Win win for us. Be interesting to see how the Jo loan is structured, they havent paid a loan fee or all his wages. Often a recall clause in these sort of loan deals.

I would like to see that deal canceled and him sent out on loan to a Burnley, Birmmigham that sort of side or maybe abroad. We can all play hardball at the end of the day if we dont get our man It should be turned into a fucking Everton over exercise.
