Seems like that's what he's done.ToffeeBlue said:I think alot of todays valuations are over the top so why should we settle for less than the going rate and what we value our player at? Not going to happen, we have a stubborn Scot in charge. Moyes should just come out and tell Sparky, meet the valuation NOW or go away and play with your new train set!wrongun73 said:30million for lescott is way over the top and you know it.
i would pay half that, tops. i think we should walk away, leaving everton to stand still in the transfer market. theres better than him out there for loads less, plus it would get rid of you ***** off here!
The attitude of some City fans who see their club splashing money about is getting annoying. I wish City fans could think back 5 years ago to when Chelsea came raiding for Wright-Phillips. And not long before that we were in the old Div 3. Not all City fans are as arrogant as this thread might suggest.
I think City will start the season with the existing defence, and maybe look to strengthen in January or next Summer. No point buying for the sake of it, and I don't see any central defenders who are available who are any better than what we have. No doubt they are out there, but it's a gamble to take someone from another League / division.
It will take time for City to build a team, and Everton could well finish above City this season.
All these fans who are laughing at everton will be the first to slam Hughes and the players if they don't win their first few games.
