Upson is a decent squad player and a very handy defender.
I think we'll sign two more defenders. Lescott and Upson imo.

Not sure about Hangelaand. Really struggled in his 1st season. Ridiculed in some quarters, and the same people then make him out to be the best defender outside of the top 4 last season.
I wouldn't have Drogba in a current 1st 11 either. Past his best

can't see us signing both Lescott and Upson; i know it's feasible as if Hughes had got Terry we would have been signing 3 central defenders but i get the feeling if this is true that we have walked away from blue dippers.
hughes definitely wants a left footed prem based central defender so i suppose Upson would be an improvement over what we have presently if Lescott has been walked away from.

The worlds going to end, didn't you know? It is for whoever said Lescott is to be announced at that time anyways!! It was on a post this morning that Everton will announce Lescott to us at half 2PM. Be nice if it happens, however I can't see it.
